MysoreJackson Posted May 9, 2017 Report Posted May 9, 2017 I am planning to buy a home projector as gift to parents. Please suggest some good and reliable projectors which works in India without any issues like AC/DC power converter etc. Did anyone take projectors to India or face any issues operating projector in india? I am planning for this. Please throw some light. https://www.amazon.com/Optoma-HD142X-Lumens-Theater-Projector/dp/B01HQCF6R6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1494209883&sr=1-1&keywords=Optoma+HD142X Quote

ICANWIN Posted May 9, 2017 Report Posted May 9, 2017 Ikkadavi converter lekunda India lo work avutava? A projector mana india power fluctuations ki batukutunda? My personal observation is US lo electronics anni power fluctuations ki tondaraga chachipotayi india lo.. Quote
critic Posted May 10, 2017 Report Posted May 10, 2017 Epson Home Cinema 2045 Full HD 3D Projector. Cost $850. Paid $650 during thanksgiving. Epson supports dual voltage 110-240v. So no need for step down/ Voltage converter. Alteady installed and using for 120inch screen in India. Replacement Lamp/ Bulb - Around $70 ( cheapest in the class) Regarding Projector Quality : If using projector for the first time you will be impressed. Among top 3 in < $1000 category. I am not sure about other brands. Quote
