emo question idhi baa...yosemite hiking is too strenuous effort for adults itself..andharu cheyyaleru unless you have a active lifestyle and good fitness level

I will be doing the half dome, my wife and kid till base of dome 

That is the plan 

Know it is 8 miles , Did any one it with kids to just the base

Even till the base.. its hard for Kids... unless you carry them...
