JANASENA Posted May 15, 2017 Report Posted May 15, 2017 కొలంబో: గత కొన్ని రోజులుగా భారత్-పాక్ ద్వైపాక్షిక సిరీస్ గురించి చర్చలు జరుగుతున్నాయి. భద్రతా కారణాల వల్ల పాక్తో ఆడేందుకు బీసీసీఐ సుముఖత వ్యక్తం చేయని సంగతి తెలిసిందే. అలాగే భారత ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి అనుమతి లేకపోవడంతో ఇరుజట్ల మధ్య సిరీస్కు తెరపడింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో భారత్-పాక్ ద్వైపాక్షిక సిరీస్కు తమ దేశం ఆతిథ్యం ఇచ్చేందుకు సిద్ధంగా ఉందని శ్రీలంక క్రికెట్ బోర్డు అధ్యక్షుడు తిలంగ సుమతిపాల తెలిపారు. ‘భద్రతా సమస్యల కారణంగా భారత్ తమ దేశంలో పర్యటించనని చెప్పింది. కనీసం భారత్లోనైనా ఆడేందుకు బీసీసీఐ అంగీకరించడం లేదు’ అని పాకిస్థాన్ క్రికెట్ బోర్డు ఛైర్మన్ తెలిపారు. ఈ క్రమంలో ఇటీవల శ్రీలంక పర్యటనకు వెళ్లిన భారత ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోదీతో భారత్-పాక్ ద్వైపాక్షిక సిరీస్ గురించి చర్చించినట్లు సుమతిపాల చెప్పారు. బండార్నాయక మెమోరియల్ ఇంటర్నేషనల్ కాన్ఫరెన్స్ హాల్లో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన సమావేశంలో నరేంద్ర మోదీతో పాకిస్థాన్తో భారత్ క్రికెట్ ఆడేలా చూడాలని కోరినట్లు తెలిపారు. ఇరుజట్ల సిరీస్తో పాక్ మాత్రమే నష్టపోలేదు. పాక్ తమతో ఆడేలేనందుకు భారత్, భారత్తో ఆడలేనందుకు పాక్ చాలా నష్టపోతాయి. దుబాయ్, శ్రీలంకలో ద్వైపాక్షిక సిరీస్ ఆడేందుకు మోదీని అనుమతి కోరినట్లు సుమతిపాల వివరించారు. calling @Kool_SRG Quote
