H1-B 60 Day Grace Period

Kindly give me a good understanding on 60 day grace period.

I have ended my employment on April 12th, 2017 at XYZ Client company. I have received my last paystubs (bench period) from my ABC employer till May 12th, 2017. They pay weekly, so after April 12th, i got 4 pay stubs generated. 
So my question is, 60 day grace period triggers from April 12th or May 12th? 

Kindly provide ur inputs.

Client has nothing to do with your employment, as long as your employer pays you... so May 12 is your answer
