Pakistan Air Force makes all forward bases operational

Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa had recently written to IAF officers, asking them to be prepared for operations at a very short notice.

The Pakistan Air Force has made all its forward operating bases operational in response to India's ‘threats,’ its chief Sohail Aman said on Wednesday. He warned that any aggression by the enemy would be remembered by their coming generations. 

Talking to media at Qadri Airbase in Skardu, he said Pakistan is a peace loving country    but is ready to counter any aggression. “The nation should not worry about the enemy’s threats and statements. We are ready to face all kinds of challenges.”

The Air Chief also supervised war exercises by fighter jet squadrons held in Skardu area near Siachen. He also took part in the exercises by flying a Mirage jet.

IAF sources, however, categorically "denied any air space violation" on the border.

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman was responding to a letter written by his Indian counterpart Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa to officers of the Indian Air Force, asking them to be prepared for operations at a very short notice.
