gender mistake in airline ticket

gone through this situation.

 

Etihad was airline. Had horrible experience convincing them to change gender... after so many calls i gave up and went ahead with same ticket.

but, it wasn't an issue at all. in fact no one will look at the gender. only matters is details on passport are right or not.

Depends on officer who does security check, once they scan your ticket all details will pop up. If they don't notice you are good, if they do then you have to change tickets and check in again my roommate had same issue, he has to come back from security to change ticket.

etihad vadu 100-150$ ento cheppadu... sarle ista change cheyyi ante sare chesi call chestam ani details teeskoni .. adrushyam.. 1 week daily try chesina no labham.. tripadvisor lo same questions reply choosi idhi common ga jarige mistake no issues ani vadilesa.
