But company said they will relocate her 1 year back and she made all arrangements for that. I heard her husband quit his job too and kids made preparations for new school. I also heard if they fire her, they would have to give her 9 months pay as she worked for 20 years. So they said they will not relocate her and gave 1 month to decide.

Don't know the full details. So we are calling it layoff/fired as they no more need her services 

3 contractors in team. 1 just converted to FTE. 2 have contracts until Dec. So, we don't know what would happen to us as we were never involved in any meetings with her bosses.

yes, work is there. but don't know how they see contractors. New manager might say, no more contractors, get the FTEs. vatiki thodu new amendments, India travel vastunayi. We just hope they keep us till Dec as per SOW

I don't think why people work for more than 2 years for the same company tomorrow when you move to a new company may be you will starting counting stars
