ఇటీవల ఎవరెస్టు శిఖరాన్ని అధిరోహించి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ కీర్తిని చాటిన చిన్నారులకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. ఎవరెస్టు శిఖరాన్ని ఎక్కడం ఎంతో కష్టంతో కూడుకున్న పని అన్నారు. గురువారం కాకినాడలో నిర్వహించిన మహాసంకల్ప సభలో ఆయన మాట్లాడారు. ఎవరెస్టు శిఖరం ఎక్కిన విద్యార్థులకు ఒక్కొక్కరికి రూ.10లక్షలు, ఎక్కేందుకు వెళ్లి విఫలమైనవారికి రూ.5లక్షల చొప్పున సాయం అందించినట్టు చంద్రబాబు తెలిపారు.

అంతకుముందు ఆయన ఎవరెస్ట్‌ శిఖరాన్ని అధిరోహించిన విద్యార్థులను వేదికపైకి పిలిచి అభినందించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా వారితో వేదికపై మాట్లాడించారు. వారి అనుభవాలను వేదికపై పంచుకోవాలని సూచించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా పొలసానిపల్లి సాంఘిక సంక్షేమ జూనియర్‌ కళాశాలకు చెందిన రాణి అనే అమ్మాయి తన జ్ఞాపకాలను పంచుకున్నారు. వేదికపై బాలిక ప్రసంగం ఆమె మాటల్లోనే.. ‘ నా పేరు రాణి. పొలసానిపల్లి జూనియర్‌ కళాశాలలో చదువుతున్నా. సాంఘిక సంక్షేమ పాఠశాలల్లో చదవడమే నా అదృష్టం. ఎవరెస్టు ఎక్కే అవకాశం వచ్చినందుకు సంతోషంగా ఫీలవుతున్నా. అసలు ఎవరెస్టు ఎలా వుంటుందో తెలియదు. పుస్తకాల్లో చదవడమే తప్ప. అందుకే చాలా భయం వేసింది. ఇంత పెద్ద సాహసానికి మేం సిద్ధపడుతున్నప్పుడు ప్రోత్సహించిన మా తల్లిదండ్రులకు ప్రత్యేక కృతజ్ఞతలు. అసలు ప్రాణాలతో వస్తామో.. లేదో తెలియదు. కానీ మమ్మల్ని పంపించిన నా తల్లిదండ్రులకు రుణపడి వుంటాం. కేతనకొండలో ట్రైనింగ్‌ పొందాం. అనంతరం ఎవరెస్ట్‌కి ఏప్రిల్‌ 8న బయల్దేరాం. బేస్‌ క్యాంప్‌కు వెళ్లాక ఎన్నో కష్టాలు ఎదుర్కొన్నాం. అక్కడి ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు చాలా తక్కువ. గాలులు కూడా అధికంగా దూసుకొచ్చాయి. ఆ గాలుల తీవ్రతకు కొట్టుకుపోయే పరిస్థితి వున్నా.. ఎవరెస్ట్‌ ఎక్కాలనే పట్టుదలతో ముందుకెళ్లాం. సుమారు 200 శవాల్ని దాటుకొని ముందుకువెళ్లాం. తిరిగి వెనక్కి వస్తామనే నమ్మకం లేదు. అప్పుడే మా తల్లిదండ్రులు గుర్తుకొచ్చారు. పెద్ద మొత్తంలో ప్రభుత్వం కూడా మాపై ఖర్చుచేసి పంపింది. ఆ బాధ్యతతో మరింత ధైర్యంగా ముందుకెళ్లాం. అనేక భయాలు, కష్టాల మధ్య ఎవరెస్ట్‌ ఎక్కాక అద్భుతంగా ఉందక్కడి దృశ్యం. మంచుకొండలపై సూర్యకాంతి పడినప్పుడు బంగారు వర్ణంలో అగుపించింది. ఎవరెస్ట్‌పై త్రివర్ణ పతాకాన్ని ఎగురవేసి మురిసిపోయాం. ఏదైనా అనుకుంటే సాధించగలం. ఎంతో వ్యయం చేసి ఎవరెస్టు ఎక్కాలన్నా ముందు ధైర్యం వుండాలి. ప్రభుత్వం మాకు ఆ ధైర్యాన్నిచ్చింది. ఒక్కో విద్యార్థికి పెద్దమొత్తంలో ఖర్చుచేసి పంపింది. ప్రభుత్వం ఇలా సాయం చేస్తే ఇంకా అద్భుతాలు సాధిస్తాం. వచ్చిన అవకాశాలను సద్వినియోగం చేసుకొని ముందుకెళ్లాలి. అందుకే మీ పిల్లల్ని కూడా ప్రోత్సహించండి. మమ్మల్ని ఆదరించి సాయం చేసిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు గారికి కృతజ్ఞతలు’ అంటూ తన ప్రసంగాన్ని ఆ బాలిక ముగించింది.

I have read in the past the first expedition of tenzing norgay and edmund hilary to mount everest, the pass through a lots of dead bodies while climbing the highest peak on the earth.

chala expeditions jarigayii to reach the peak, most of them gave up near 22000/25000 feet and died. these two reached there for the first time against all the odds.

exactly...highly experienced climbers kuda chala kastam antaru everest climbing...many died too

alantidi..asalu everest gurinchi books lo chadvatam thappa ela vuntado kuda teledu ani aa ammai ee cheppindi..just like that train ayyi velli everest climb chesindi ante.. seems fake to me
