GST on TTD income

Tirumala: TTD board has been enjoying the privilege of no tax years for long; thanks to the previous governments board was spared from all sorts of taxes. Simply because it is a spiritual organization and considering the love people have for the Tirumala deity TTD was never in the ambit of any kind of taxes.

But thanks to Narendra Modi government's tax reforms, Lord Balaji could not escape from the ambit. On top of tax its going to be huge as well. Laddu prasadam and the free meal schemes will have to bear the tax brunt. TTD has been doing these on subsidees and hence is not in a mood to bear the tax burden. AP government requested Centre on behalf of TTD.

Irony is that Modi government which runs on Hindutva agenda and has the blessings of VHP and RSS has brought Hindu's most revered TTD in the ambit of GST. This will have effect on the devotees too as TTD may not serve the free meal and laddus on subsidized prices.

TTD almost all temples in india lo tax id vuntai maseedulu churchulu not applicable under law N more no need to show source of funding

Man... TTD janam kosam pettadhaa.... chaala programs unnayi... Nithyaannadaanam, Dhalitha govindam, Free marriages, funding to universities like Sanskrit vidhyapeet, free drinking water etc., 

Naaku just ivi maathram thelusu.... inka chaala unnayi... no money is getting wasted...

I always want to see TTD as a proud autonomous organization, they have good ongoing programs and intentions towards charity. 

Devudi sommu corrupt cheyyataniki bhaya padatharu most people. But, adhe GST roopam lo bayatiki velthe politicians pockets nimpadaniki thappa deniki use kadhu...
