What are the odds whole foods merging in to amzn

I think it is very optimistic, although I have seen this with few companies. For example, solar city merging in to telsla and eventually trading under parent company.

Let's say for whatever reason this merger do not go well down the road. Since amzn bought the company and  to save their market reputation they would end merging the stock.
