Courtesy to clean utensils

Came to my friends house 

We cleaned out plates after dinner 

They were surprised that we are cleaning 

And said most of their other friends don't 

But don't you think it is minimum courtesy when you visit ur friends to help them in cleaning ur stuff especially after dinner

I offer to atleast wash it, but most times they ask me not to since they use a dishwasher anyway.
