I think it is only private. If they want to provide it *As-a-service, they probably need to invest and sacrifice some profits, which I think is big risk considering they have very thin margins and they worry about dividends for greedy shareholders. Amazon just has a better way of doing the business anthey. It has nothing to do with greedy shareholders. Technically Walmart spreads the value it creates around through dividends. Amazon spreads it by building more infrastructure. each has its own benefits. Quote

Ultimately, every shareholder wants teh returns. its just that Amazon shareholders are encouraging its startup culture, at least for now Quote
