how to transfer indian property to some other person name from US with out gng to India

I have a plot on my name in India. My father wants to transfer that property on his name for construction of house. I'm not in a situation to go to India and sign the registration papers in Registrar office. If my father sends those documents in courier what is the process to follow here for signing the documents and sending back to India.

Will there be any registration officers here authorized by Indian govt?

Can i simply sign those papers and send them ?

 If anybody know the process or done previously plz throw some light.
