I'm interested in reading about how communism failed in the Soviet.

I've got a bunch of books lined up for the next few weeks.

I've already read Animal Farm, but its only an allegory to communism. Its not about the Soviet.

The author George Orwell is a self professed socialist too. Has praised communes from greek cities, to India's caste system, to Spanish Anarchists, as superior to western liberalism.

The Soviet history is interesting because it worked for a while. It worked in educating everyone, making sure everyone had nutritious food in their belly, made tremendous scientific progress in science (though not consumer products), etc.

You'll be surprised how many well qualified people exist in the regions of the then USSR.

But it failed politically, and economically.

you mean their war strategies and stuff? I have no idea about that all.

eppudanna chadavali daani gurinchi.

I think, because they were all brainwashed nazis, it was easy to have a command control structure.

The only thing I know is that Germany is not the only villain in WW 2. There was a lot of provocation from the Brit and French too.
