There are many dalits who have msc/Phd and are stuck at lecturer level. This is true of atleast the social sciences. but in technical sciences, there are plenty of dalits who don't even get a look in as a lecturer.

why are you in such a hurry? let them expand what this university hopes to achieve, and how it'll be governed. then lets talk.

you are saying that there are not enough dalit graduates to even fill some lecturer positions in one university?

many of them go for PhD, because it gives them a regular stipend. I personally know of atleast 2 PhDs in Physics, who now work in national labs. after applying for IIT and getting rejected. even though they graduated from IIT.

Its not filled by most of the institutes.

why do you think reservation has not been a success. its not implemented beyond the politically more visible layer (govt jobs, and govt education seats).

govt funded university lo lecturer job kuda govt job antaru.....and it's as "visible" as govt educational seats....

no. those jobs are not visible. the only jobs that are 'visible' are the ones that require an exam and whose results are public.

dalit associations have been fighting over it all the time. you just don't get to read about it, because nobody else cares.
