Rohit ODI & T20 lo sure shot member, and going to feature in test side more from now on...As of now kohli ki no problem.

DADA em chesthadu, he's not the captain of the team. DADA ochi idi cheyi adi cheyi ante inka godava avutundi Kohli and team tho. DADA is just going to be diplomatic. 

End of the day, Shastri will be the coach of the team and Kohli is going to continue as the captain atleast till the WC2019 no matter what anyone says. I don't think it's a bad thing either, Shastri seems to have a good buddy buddy rapport with Kohli so that will be helpful.

ODI lo permanent avvachu kaani he doesn't have many innings of quality in the finals or must win situations. It's very doubtful he will be able to handle captaincy on top of opening the batting.

I don't think so by the body language of Sourav, if ravi was to be named it would have been done yesterday itself since kohli is inclined towards him why they have to wait till captain returns for discussion again.

In the current interests of the team, the best decision would be to 

1) Appoint Shastri as the coach

2) Give full confidence to Kohli to continue as the captain till WC 2019 

3) Test match captaincy to be given to Rahane, depending on how willing Kohli is to part with that so he can focus on the ODI team's performance before the 2 years leading to the WC

4) Continue with Shastri as the coach upto WC 2019

If Shastri isn't made the coach, the other alternative would be to give it to someone like Tom Moody. 

Virender Sehwag may not be the best fit for coach of a national team yet.

Yes that's even more reason why DADA doesn't want to come across as the bad guy by taking a decision that Kohli isn't happy with. 

Sachin and Laxman both will play the silent role em matladaru, everyone knows DADA is the stronger personality among the three. So long term innings kavali BCCI tho anukunte DADA won't make any decision that's going to put the focus on him esp against Kohli.

I remember okappudu Aussies were against this too, I am talking about the mid 90s. Appatlo Aussie captain Mark Taylor, great captain and a very good batsman, wonderful guy as well but he eventually had a prolonged loss of form due to handling both the ODI and TEST captaincies. 

Then Steve Waugh took over and a few years down the line after the 1999 WC, they didn't do this mistake again. Ricky Ponting became the ODI captain while SW continued to be the test captain for a few years till his retirement. We should follow the same policy

Both captains ki ego clashes osthayanemo mari. 

To avoid this one thing we could do is find a test specialist for example someone like Pujara and make him the captain of the test team. 

Since that person wouldn't play the ODIs anyway, no question of having an ego clash with the ODI captain Kohli
