Baby Indian Visa- NYC Help

Hello Guys,

Can you please throw some light on the Indian Visiting visa at NYC, I heard that if we submit the documents at the counter, visa will be issued the same day. Is it true? If so please provide me the checklist.

Also, do I need to take the family to the embassy, please let me know. Much appreciated.
