Norse hunters-gatherers and Inuit hunters cultivated a landscape based on farming, grazing, and marine mammal hunting. Evidence of Eskimo and Greenlandic culture can be found along the coast, including remnants of turf houses, stone meat caches, hunting beds, and graves.
