Engaged couple calls off wedding because of Modi

In the recent past couple of years, we have seen several interesting yet bizarre reasons for couples calling of their weddings at the last minute. For the first time, a betrothed couple in India has now called off their marriage as their opinions on Prime Minister Narendra Modi differed. 

According to reports, a businessman in Uttar Pradesh was due to get married to a woman, who is a government employee. The duo has recently met to finalize the arrangements of their wedding. All was apparently going well until one of them raised the topic of Modi's administration. 

Whereas the woman opined that Modi was responsible for the economic slowdown in India, the man didn't agree. Following a heated argument, the two decided to cancel their wedding, much to the shock of their families. 

It's a welcome change to see the younger generation taking politics seriously and thinking of the future of the country. But, calling off wedding just because of an argument over politics looks bizarre, isn't?
