Fear, anger is there due to polarizing financial structure and its across all races. Racism is a whole different thing and could be the tiniest of the problems with the current conditions in US.

that's racism, pure and simple. whatever is exploited, it gets the tag.

if other strategies like anger are exploited, it turns into a socialist movement. It may still be hostile to outsiders, but the main enemies will be the billionaires and corporates.
