Insurance is scam , it should be optional not mandatory.Na life na istam.Big companies making money on insurance that's why everyone is asking for just one insurer - the govt. with raise in taxes. like everywhere else in the developed world. ofcourse it'll destroy 1/4th of the jobs in the US if it happens. health is optional, not mandatory antunnav. okay. It means that you are okay if a fairly healthy person develops a disease in the future and dies because he cannot afford treatment. It also means you think that making health care mandatory increases worst practices in personal health because people are lethargic that everything will be covered. Why then, Europeans (not UK) have lesser fat people than the US. The system in US exploits public issues like health care, to transfer wealth from the govt to private enterprises (insurers). This is what has kept US at a competititve edge over other countries. At the cost of misery of a portion of their population. US is free to continue having those policies. Its funny to see republicans, democrats scurry around to defend the system at the behest of their corporate masters. regular people actually believe that health can be optional and not mandatory. people are that brainwashed in the US to even consider alternatives. I'm not saying the alternatives are insanely better. But people live in the illusion that their choices are harmless. but they are. the smugness is irritating. Quote
