ARYA Posted July 21, 2017 Report Posted July 21, 2017 నవ్యాంధ్ర రాజధానిలో ప్రధాన పట్టణంగా అభివృద్ధి చెందుతున్న విజయవాడ నగరంలో ఇటీవల కాలంలో అసాధారణంగా పెరిగిపోయిన వాహనాల వల్ల ట్రాఫిక్ సమస్యలు పెరిగిపోయాయి. రద్దీ ప్రాంతాల్లో అనధికారిక పార్కింగ్ ఎక్కువైపోయింది. వీటిని నియంత్రించడంతోపాటు, అక్రమ వసూళ్లకు చెక్పెట్టడం ద్వారా నగరపాలక సంస్థకు మరింత ఆదాయాన్ని తెచ్చిపెట్టాలని నిర్ణయించిన అధికారులు ఇందుకోసం స్మార్ట్ పార్కింగ్ విధానానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. ముందస్తుగా 16 ప్రాంతాలను నగరపాలక సంస్థ అధికారులు ఎంపికచేసి ప్రస్తుతం టెండర్లు ఆహ్వానించారు. దిల్లీ, ముంబయి, చెన్నై వంటి నగరాల్లో ఈ స్మార్టు పార్కింగ్ విధానం అమల్లో ఉంది. విజయవాడలో అమలు చేసేందుకు కావలిసిన సాఫ్ట్వేర్ను దిల్లీకి చెందిన గెట్వే పార్కింగ్ సంస్థ సమకూర్చేందుకు ముందుకొచ్చింది. వాహనచోదకులు నూతన సాంకేతిక యాప్ను డౌన్లోడ్ చేసుకుని ఇంటి నుంచే ఎక్కడ వాహనాల నిలుపుదలకు స్థలం అందుబాటులో ఉందో తెలుసుకోవచ్చు. ఇందుకోసం ముందుగానే స్లాట్ ద్వారా బుక్ చేసుకునేందుకు వెసులుబాటు కల్పిస్తున్నారు. వాహనచోదకులు నేరుగా నిర్దేశిత పార్కింగ్ ప్రాంతానికి జీఐఎస్ విధానంలో చేరుకునేందుకు ఆయా సాఫ్ట్వేర్ సహాయపడుతోంది. నగదు రహిత చెల్లింపులను ప్రోత్సహించాలనే లక్ష్యంతో సాధారణ పార్కింగ్ వ్యవస్థను సైతం ఇకపై స్మార్ట్ పార్కింగ్ విధానాన్ని అమల్లోకి తెస్తున్నారు. వాహనచోదకులు తమ ఇంటి నుంచి ఆన్లైన్ చెల్లింపుల ద్వారా పార్కింగ్ను బుక్చేసుకోవచ్చు. నిర్వాహకుల నుంచి స్క్రాచ్కార్డు పొంది పార్కింగ్ ప్రాంతాల్లో నగదు రహిత చెల్లింపులు సైతం చేసుకునే వెసులుబాటు ఉంటుంది.
