in my understanding, Men are quick to use physical strength over a female..mostly the abuse is bodily harm. Women tend to cause emotional pain to men. Both are bad imo

emotional pain is bad only if its one sided and sustained. Are you sure its always/mostly women who use emotional blackmail? Men use it too. In fact patriarchy has evolved to use emotional abuse to substitute for physical abuse that our grandfather generation indulged in.

Every relationship goes through highs and lows. Will all the lows be considered as emotional abuse?

Its up to the people involved in it to decide what constitutes an abuse, and a counsellor to decide if it qualifies for a legal definition of abuse. 

Inspite of some outspoken females, some even bordering on lunacy, I think men as a group have not evolved with the times to try and adjust to the new gender reality.

That is why I really cannot put physical and mental abuse at the same level. But if mental abuse is sustained and targeted, then it deserves justice. Otherwise most of it is just women letting off steam.

And men trying to portray every simple thing they do as being a 'b1tch', and further making their condition worse. In that case, man is the emotional manipulator, who expects a wife to always smile. Not the woman.

If the same group stands up against a stronger adversary, then it may wash off some of the stain of cowardice.
