Exclusive hold clause by Vendor

Hi,

  I am trying for corp-to-corp positions on H1B currently. Lately some of the desi vendors are including the below clause to submit profile to the client. How legally are we bind to the below cause and how much trouble do we have to go through if we want to pursue other job opportunity? Does anyone have/had any similar experience. Please advise me!

"EXCLUSIVE HOLD: The parties also agree that *** Technologies will
get an exclusivity of Forty Eight (48) hours after the interview has
taken place and if selected candidate will positively &
unconditionally join the assignment for which *** Technologies has
presented him/her at its client location. In case the consultant is
pursuing other opportunities and is likely to get selected for an
assignment elsewhere, vendor will inform us at least forty eight (48)
hours in advance of the interview date so that consultant’s
candidature may be withdrawn."
