8. Business Model

Any help would be really appreciated folks. Thanks..!!

Very risky , too much work. Unless u r willing to stop ur FT job and manage this and profit margins are very low for most of the items and u need huge volume of sales to make any profit.

My two cents.

Never start a grocery store in standalone location.

Start it next to a Desi restaurant or Desi take out food or Desi beauty parlour .

So three four Desi business vunna Chita pettu.

If you open a store where Desi population move less..you have to close store within a year

Did someone say profit margins are 30%. Is that gross or net?

Also think about the time you need to spend for the margins you are going to get? Remember, a great portfolio might get you returns of 6-8% with almost no effort. Compare the effort you need to put for the returns you get.

Think from long term perspective too. What if you have an opportunity somewhere in which you have greater returns but you declined it because you have no time on anything else. Basically, what if you need to scale the business or find another opportunity but cannot because of this business. If needed, can you trust someone else to run the business while you focus on other things?
