Day 1 Collections: Arjun Reddy's Baahubalian feat

The advance booking for 'Arjun Reddy' hinted a massive opening, and meeting all the expectations, the bold film took an earth shattering opening among small budget films.

On its opening day, Arjun Reddy collected a whopping Rs 8 crore at worldwide box office. Considering the film's budget, this is nothing short of Baahubalian feat.

As per trade reports, Day 2 started off with houseful noon shows across the two Telugu states. The film is set for another big day and a massive weekend eventually.

అర్జున్ రెడ్డి.. ఇప్పుడు టాలీవుడ్ లేటెస్ట్ సెన్సేషన్ అనాల్సిందే. సినిమా రిలీజ్ కి ముందు రకరకాల వివాదాలను హీరో విజుయ్ దేవరకొండ ఉద్దేశ్యపూర్వకంగా సృష్టిస్తే.. ఇదంతా సినిమాలో కంటెంట్ తక్కువగా ఉండడంతో.. వసూళ్ల కోసం ఆడుతున్న డ్రామా అనే సందేహించారంతా. అయితే.. మూవీ పరంగా జనాలను మెప్పిస్తోందని.. టాక్ చూస్తే అర్ధమవుతుంది. కానీ వసూళ్లు మాత్రం అనూహ్య స్థాయిలో వచ్చేయడం విశేషం. 

తొలి రోజున అర్జున్ రెడ్డి ఏకంగా 8 కోట్ల రూపాయల గ్రాస్ వసూలు చేయడం సంచలనం. షేర్ పరంగా కూడా అంకెలు 4 కోట్లు దాటిపోయాయి. నైజాంలో మొదటి రోజు కలెక్షన్స్ 1.4 కోట్లు కాగా.. సీడెడ్ నుంచి 35 లక్షలు వచ్చాయి. ఏపీలో 93 లక్షలు కలుపుకుంటే.. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో 2.68 కోట్ల షేర్ వచ్చింది. ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా షేర్ కలెక్షన్స్ 4.3 కోట్ల రూపాయలు వచ్చాయని తెలుస్తోంది. ఇక ఓవర్సీస్ లో అయితే.. ఈ మూవీ సునామీ మాదిరిగా దూసుకుపోతోందని చెప్పచ్చు. ప్రీమియర్లతో కలుపుకుని తొలి రోజు చివరకు వసూళ్లు దాదాపు 3 లక్షల డాలర్లుగా లెక్క గడుతున్నారు. ప్రీమియర్లతోనే ఈ చిత్రం 2.05 లక్షల డాలర్లు వసూలు చేసింది. అంటే.. ఫస్ట్ డే కలెక్షన్సే హాఫ్ మిలియన్ మార్కును టచ్ చేసేసినట్లే చెప్పాలి.

అర్జున్ రెడ్డి మూవీ రూపొందిన బడ్జెట్ తో పోల్చుకుంటే.. ఇవి చాలా భారీ వసూళ్లు అని ఒప్పుకోవాల్సిందే. సినిమాలో విజయ్ దేవరకొండ మినహాయిస్తే.. మరో ఎట్రాక్షన్ లేకపోయినా.. అన్ని ఏరియాల నుంచి భారీ వసూళ్లు వస్తుండడం విశేషం. మౌత్ టాక్ కూడా బాగానే ఉండడంతో.. ఈ చిత్రం బాక్సాఫీస్ దగ్గర సెన్సేషనల్ రికార్డులు నమోదు చేయడం ఖాయంగా కనిపిస్తోంది.
