Idi just bi-election..Also there were a lot of other factors like sympathy, candidates switching parties etc.. 

In politics 1.5 years is a long time.. 2019 is a different game.. in 2012 bi-elections TDP lost deposit and lost in all 12 places.. 2014 it won most of those seats..
