Position1:

 

Position Description:

 Provide in-depth systems analysis, design and development for existing mainframe Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), which is a Ford Credit warehouse used for reporting & metrics across the company globally (North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia/Pacific). The applications supported are highly integrated with other Ford Credit systems and contain numerous internal/external dependencies/interfaces. Position also includes analysis of issues/questions, design/development and launch of changes, participation in testing with Enterprise Release Management (ERM)/projects/other applications, handling multiple tasks with varying deadlines, and being flexible to changing priorities.

Position Duties:

• Support Enterprise Data Warehouse utilizing Teradata, DataStage, COBOL, & DB2/SQL.
• Apply analytical skills to diagnose problems, develop solutions and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with business and systems partners in issue/question identification and resolution.
• Interface with numerous information technology groups, including application and service teams
• Use USDM methodology while coding application changes/enhancements, developing and executing test plans, and participating in technical reviews.
• Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development.
• Work on-site 40 hours/week, Monday  Friday

Skills Required:

• Experience in a Teradata, data warehousing environment
• Experience in DataStage or similar ETL technology
• Experience in SQL and extract, transform and load (ETL) programming
• Strong mainframe skills including COBOL, MVS, JCL, CA7, TSO/SPF, Xpeditor and FileAid
• Knowledge and experience with DB2/SQL, FTP, Connect Direct
• Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Exceptional analytical experience of complex applications and data relationships
• Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong drive for results and ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities
• Self-starter with proven innovation skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing
• Demonstrated ability to document complex systems
• Experience in obtaining and understanding business requests

Skills Preferred:

• Five or more years in Information Technology.

Experience Required:

• Data Stage or similar ETL technology

Position 2:

 

Position Description:

ETL Developer/Analyst: Perform analysis, Design and Development of ETL processes using Datastage for Business intelligence and Data Warehouse projects. Responsibilities will also include providing technical expertise on ETL Design, Data modeling, Data Warehousing and Data Integration. Handle all aspects of systems life cycle for ETL processes related to Teradata, DB2, Oracle and extract files using Datastage, Database and Warehousing skills. Handle multiple project assignments with minimal direction and escalate issues as necessary to the management - Be flexible to respond to changing priorities.

Skills Required:

Over five year experience in Datastage and Data warehousing skills Strong working knowledge in Teradata and data warehousing. Strong experience in relational databases, advanced SQL and ETL programming/tools/utilities Other skills including Autosys, ACCUREV, UNIX, MVS, JCL, CA7, TSO/SPF, COBOL Strong data design, data modeling and facilitation skills Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills

Skills Preferred:

Strong drive for results and ability to multi-task and work Independently Self-starter with proven innovation skills Ability to work with cross-functional teams and all levels of Management   Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing Demonstrated ability to document complex systems Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans

Experience Required:

Over five years of experience in Datastage, Teradata, designing and developing ETL applications in Teradata data warehousing environment
