Urgent help plz

- My I-94 (Online) expired

- My US visa stamp on passport expired

- My I-797 expiring in 1 month

 

Can I renew/update my I-94 by crossing Mexico border. is it safe?

Or Apply for H1 extension? this will cause any issues?

Thank you! But there be an issue as my i94 is expired 2 month ago which may be considered as not a valid  status?

online i94 expiry is different from i797 approved lo i94 expiry. Regardless you have to apply for extension if u want to continue to stay. Ni latest i797 based visa stamp is expired ah ? just curious as u r saying only 1 month left  on i797

When I entered usa last year at POE , I gave both new 797 and old 797 but they entered my last date on I94 using old 797.

my old 797 expired on june but new 797 expires in oct. Can i get this corrected  at local CBP office?

My employer asking me to go out of country cross border and come back but I don;t have valid US visa so I am concerned. He says I can go mexico with valid 797

Nee us visa stamping old i-797 meeda iste then your new i-797 expiry is valid... so in this case you are still in status but apply for extension as soon as possible... premium elagu ledu kabatti it will take time for the extension to get approved

Try this first. Take expert opinion as you just have one month left and also do not have valid stamp. I would suggest you to consult an attorney.

Thanks. But they are saying that I94 (online) de use chestaru anta for considering status. so ipudu nuvvu status lo levu so out of country velli vaste renew chestaru ani cheparu. and ya we are ready to apply H1-B ext anyway.

I dont think thats a valid point as my wife was in that situation before and when she went to india, she did got stamped and entered usa without any issue.

But if you want to be sure just consult some experienced attorney and ask their suggestion.
