why everyone prefers for double masters instead of MBA? Any drawback of not doing MBA? Konchem enlighten me

If I were You, I would go for an MBA. Putting status issues and other issues aside, MBA will polish your ideas and makes you think to look at your career from a different angle. I think you will understand your career in a more mature way.
