when u decided to work in CPT , it should be related to ur course work.

If its MBA, should be on management side.

If it is Masters then you can work software/development side

If I were You, I would go for an MBA. Putting status issues and other issues aside, MBA will polish your ideas and makes you think to look at your career from a different angle. I think you will understand your career in a more mature way.

An MBA from a non top 10-15 school is as good as toilet paper.

If you are a developer or doing a technical job, college won't approve your cpt application because your job is not related to the course.

follow this

Top 12-13 schools are mostly fixed. 14-20 move up or down but stay below 20. Top 12-13 have brand value all over the world. Rest are famous locally, in MBA circles, or in certain specializations.

OH I didn't particularly mean those ones that offered CPT from day 1, just meant in general.
