tennisluvr
These sort of laws are expected, situation is going to get worse at this rate going ahead as there's a high rate of abuse in the already existing laws addressed to fix marital issues like 498a. Be careful guys, one wrong step and you will repent for the rest of your life. If this passes, they would next get the extradition treaty law passed. You might not be safe even with a US citizenship in that case.
tennisluvr
Plus another question is how can they cancel someone's passport, and render him stateless? If someone's passport is canceled and he doesn't have any passport left with, he would be rendered persona non grata.

This is to be expected, I have seen this happen in quite a few friends cases as well. Reason is that the wives know that they can blackmail the husband, drag him to court and make his life miserable if they don't listen to them. Ilanti laws ni appatlo @lazybugger baaga support chesadu, wonder what he has to say about this now.

Law equality antaru kadaa, even the feminists claim that feminism is a movement that's supposed to address the inequality between both the genders and make the law homogeneous for both male and female. Then how can they support such obviously biased laws in the first place?

Naaku telisina oka close friend got divorced because his wife works and yet doesn't pay a single penny to household maintenance, money motham thana mummy daddy ki pampesthadi. Plus she's high maintenance and does shopping every weekend all footed by his credit card. So when he asked her to cut down on those expenses, she got upset at him and told him he is not treating her like a princess which she claims her dad did. Then he wanted to go to his sister's wedding in India, she didn't want to come and asked him not to go. When he purchased a gift for his sister, she wasn't happy about that either and complained about how much he had to spend for such an expensive gift(mind you this is his only sister). Inspite of all this, she asked him to buy a house and he made 30k towards it's downpayment. She divorced him shortly after that and put a case of 498a against him, he lost the deposit he put on the house which was around 30k. He had to take money out of his 401k to make that deposit. Finally she wanted an out of court settlement for 50 lakhs to withdraw the case against him. Now she's in a live in relationship with a local divorced White guy. It's a good option too. Better live with someone who treats you like a man than someone who's going to treat you like an ATM.
