Polavaram Projects needs 50000 CRORES to complete

Polavaram project is definitely a very good for the Telugu states.But now the cost of the Polavaram project has reached the heights .Cost crossing the expected rate is common but it has touched astronomical heights.

On Friday at the Parliment Naidu shocked everybody .He said that  the project cost had escalated to Rs 50,000 crore and so far till date , Rs 12,000 crore had been spent on Polavaram Project.

Which means  the government would have to spend another lump of  Rs 38,000 crore in the next one and a half years..Explaining about the current construction progress of the Polavaram project to the  project committee members, Naidu urged them to keep the national interest and goodness  in mind and a 'fast' construction of the project.
