The actor has been spending enough time in Chennai promoting the film. Mahesh has been asked on his fans calling him Superstar of Tollywood. The actor revealed that there are many Superstars in the country and Megastar Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth are the real superstars among them. "Irrespective of the genres and the directors, audience get ready to watch Chiru and Rajni garu's films in theatres. In my view, they are the real superstars and cinema is more powerful than actors and Superstars". AR Murugadoss directed Spyder which has been made on a massive budget of Rs 125 crores.
