Don't know if telugu people died, but whoever is present in that crime scene will become elgible for U-visa..

You can be direct or indrect victim. even  If you are just injured , you may apply for U-visa.

Ofcourse the wait times are longer, but atleast you will get something.

These days I heard it takes upto 3 years to get that visa.
