SonyKongara Posted October 3, 2017 Report Posted October 3, 2017 వచ్చే సంవత్సరం అమరావతి అంతర్జాతీయ పోటీలకు ఆతిథ్యమివ్వనుంది. కృష్ణా నదిలో ఫార్ములా వన్ తరహాలో పవర్ బోట్ రేసింగ్ ప్రపంచ ఛాంపియన్షిప్ పోటీలు నిర్వహించడానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆమోదముద్ర వేశారు. 10 రోజులపాటు జరిగే ఈ పోటీలకు ప్రపంచం నలుమూలల నుంచి పేరొందిన క్రీడాకారులు వస్తారని నిర్వాహకులు తెలిపారు. బుధవారం రాజధానిపై సమీక్ష సందర్భంగా ఈ పోటీల నిర్వాహకులు కూడా పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ భారీ ఈవెంట్ నిర్వహణకు ఏ కాలం అనుకూలమో ఆలోచించి, నిర్దిష్ట ప్రణాళికతో రావాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. Barrage has enough water for most part of the year to encourage water sports...It could give rise to new avenues in sports...rowing, water sports, power boat races, water activities etc.... Good initiative... This is how a state needs to tap opportunities based on the resources available around, rather than unnecessary hype and projects.. Quote
