Data Science requires some specialized skill set. I suggest you to just not dwell into this field unless you have the good and solid understanding of your Business Acumen, R/Python etc.

Masters or PhDs in Mathematics and statistics unte, there will be better chances to grow in this field if you decide to take this path.

what you said is very true . I have worked on data handling for few years .
thinking of changing the career something related to data . so thought of talking with someone experienced in the field and  where I can use my skill set and learn new skills .

 

if anyone have online course recommendation / experience in DS pls let me know .

Data science is an ocean..lot of subjects unatayi..If you are really serious you can check and see if any of your near by universities are offering any graduate certificates on that

data science ni mana vallu kampu making.......

just simple knowledge of bigdata will not help 

bigdata is not data science 

 

you need to know  statistics, Python/R/Scala, and distributed computing platform(hadoop/Spark) 

but its the future......MachineLearning will be big too
