I visited couple of times to the murugan temple. Chelmsford is a nice town and I have visited few times in the past. There is a kerala restaurant in Chelmsford which makes good kothu parotta. In one way UK is good. But no savings. Apart from it cool life, job security, Easy to travel. Both working aithe I feel Uk is best. Nuvvu ekkada and what is your status? Denimeeda working? Quote

I stay in Los Angeles now and work as Project Manager here...and on one of those slave visas...! Previously, I went to school in Britain..Univ of Essex and LSE.... Yeah man, we do not need savings in UK...most of the things are taken care, healthcare is taken care of and assured retirement and pension, all that we need to do is to make money to pay our bills and spend on holidays, rest is assured. work life balance was good, going around is easy and not as complicated as in USA. I was there for three years but never felt the need to buy a car...Staying in Chelmsform, all that it would take is 30-35 mins to reach St.James Park which was 40 miles away ... I used to walk around and greet people...something I cannot do here in US.. Quote

Visa problems were horrible. But most of our desi people don't have enough guidance and end up working as slaves in supermarkets or someone or the other. Except savings life is too good here. Yeah man, I was on Visa and to complete PG in LSE, It would have costed me atleast 50,000 pounds... Thanks to Theresa May, I was among the first batch of people who left UK after HSMP was abolished... Quote
