Grandfather Mountain and hike the ladder trail starting at Daniel Boone Parking lot if you want a very strenuous hike, or drive up to the swinging bridge if you want to have a easy hike. Either ways don't go there when it's raining, the rock cliff is exposed to the valley and there's a risk of severe injury if you fall from there.

Ideally camp overnight dude. Go early Saturday morning, hike for half a day and then drive around to some scenic spots. 

Sunday you can go ziplining on the valley or my favorite activity i.e., ATB riding. Plenty of those rentals near Asheville or near Cherokee, NC. Also there's a Casino in Cherokee.
