Depeche Mode one of the earliest pioneers of Electronic music right.

They are more popular because they are mix of electronic with rock... aa rojullu rock is the top top genre and because they had rock elements they became more popular... as far as I know the earliest pioneer is electronic music is Jean Michel Jarre of France... He was active from the 70s

Good point yes you are right. They were kind of a hybrid band that way.

Kraftwerk ani inko German band untundi, they were one of the earliest purely electronic bands as well.

OF course appatlo electronic ante mostly synthesizer anuko, check out Giorgio Moroder as well he made good use of Synth. He was the pioneer behind the 70s disco style of music. Think Saturday night fever types.

Kraftwerk (German pronunciation: [ˈkʀaftvɛɐk], "power station") are a German electronic music band formed by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider in 1969 in Düsseldorf.[1] In the 1970s, they were among the first successful pop acts to popularize electronic music and are widely considered to be innovators and pioneers of the genre. The band was fronted by both Hütter and Schneider until Schneider's departure in 2008.
