please read this book "The Dispossessed" by Ursula LeGuin.

Its sci fi fantasy that describes a socialist society like no other, but in another planet, from which our hero escapes because of many reasons, one among which was the inability of his peers to appreciate his genius.

He comes to earth like planet, which is so richer and people so happy and fulfilled. And then he realises what lies beneath this happiness. He goes back to make his own planet a better place. 

That socialist society (actually anarchist) is impossible to achieve. But the point of the book is, one must always try to direct his society towards an ideal, even if it can never be achieved in perfection.

anarchists in the US/UK are among the people I really love being with. I don't trust liberals now. hehe..

anarchist is different from anarchy. Its the oldest political philosophy which gave birth to democracy. read about it.

I've always been an anarchist, but also support capitalism (they call this libertarianism in US), but now I think capitalism is pointless, and pure anarchism is awesome.
