Go to r/personalfinance in reddit and search. Oka guide untundi ee situation kosam. Naa friend okadu atlane chesadu and now he doesn't have a mark. Basic ga migilna vallu suggest chesinde... Collection agency tho bargain cheyatam I'll pay if you take it off ani. But ela cheyyalo reddit lo clear guide untundi.

paina anadaru cheppinatlu, immeadiatega ga pay chesy, collection agents tho matladu, address cheange valla naaku bills andaledu, please remove ani.. comcast vaadu pattichukodu but still vaadiki kooda call chesi adugu. Finalga write a letter to credit beuraus and ask them to remove this. This will stay for 5-7 years. Try your best to remove it.

ekkada chusukunnav ila collections vadu report chesinattu. Lab test nenu long back patha address lo undaga cheyincha later address change ayindi and phone number kooda change ayindi. Hope insurance covered everything. okavela lab test bill kattakunte collections ki enni months lo send chestaru. creditkarma lo chusukovacha ilantivi emina unnayo ani

Same thing happened to me.. twice. Mine was even serious first one was Tax lien, medical bill collection.

1) Pay the bill

2) Wait for 1 or 2 months, pull you credit report from all the 3 agencies.

3) File a dispute with credit agencies, saying that the remark is an error.

   Now, the agencies will contact Comcast to verify and they will have 3 days to respond.  Most of the companies will not respond as they dont care  to go after someone who has already paid the bill. After 30 days to entry will be removed from your Credit history.

same naa case lo kuda......credit control nundi call vachindi,already service stop chesanu ani cheppa but bill vundi ani cheppindi..immediate ga pay chesa 

naaku ila em raaledu credit report lo...

True.. Ma vodidi as it is same case. last month internet bill kattale address change valla. okasari derogatory mark paddaka collections vadu kadithe teesestam annadu kani kattaka teeyaledu, enni sarlu comcast ki credit agency ki call chesina labam lekunde. final ga car/home lones apply chesinappudu direct ga bank vadiki ila jarigindi ani munde cheppadam start chesadu, so they considered that. credit score and APR matram affect avthai.
