Simple123 Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 I will go with a good mechanic. Look in yelp for good mechanic . Check what brand break pads and rotors he quotes , research yourself what are recommended good brands . Suggest him what you have researched. It always cheaper to do at mechanic. Also try to negotiate with dealer. Last night i went to dealer for break pads and rotors change. He quoted me $1350. then called two other dealers .. one quoted $1150 and other one $1100. Went to few mechanic shops based on yelp reviews , they quoted me around $750. Called up dealer who quoted me $1100 and told my price. he immediately reduced price to $900. Finally i went with a mechanic who quoted me $750 for the same parts what dealer installs Quote
kakatiya Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 Is it rear wheel drive ? Rotors and break pads including calipers Nene cheskunnadu..it's not big deal.. I will suggest just buy rotors and break pads from AutoZone or go to monroe mechanic and ask him which break pads or rotors to buy... Car wheel alignment Sears auto center lo 49$ ki chestadu.. Make sure you do rotation too... Quote

And all wheel drive uh..just front wheel drive uh.. Break oad each costs around 20 to 27$ . Rotars 45$ to 60$ max if you return core, they will come for even cheaper price. There are 8$ rotors in the market too..but I don't suggest them ..just saying.. 15 minutes job.. parts cost you less than 120$.. even considering mechanic charged you 80$ per 1 hour if labour they shouldn't cost more than 220$. Kinand Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Dealing with a faulty ECM had me stuck between using a dealership or sourcing the part myself to save time and money. I focused on https://flagship-one.pissedconsumer.com/review.html because of how often it was mentioned for remanufactured engine computers that work right out of the box. Reviews pointed out solid compatibility, quick delivery, and simple installation, even for people who aren't full-time mechanics. I ordered one, installed it with just a few tools, and the car started without throwing any codes. That kind of plug-and-play solution saved me a pricey trip to the dealer. Quote
