I've found my religion.

It's the reconstructed Proto-Indo-European religion, with cool god names like Heusos, Perkunos, and Sehul.

I now have to learn about cool stories from other religions to steal from to form a good mythological base I can talk about to kids.

I've picked up Edwin Bryant's Origins of Vedic culture, and then will move on to Norse and Roman culture too.

nah. I want cool gods that fight to death to protect the world.

I have adopted Heusos as my personal god. Hindu equivalent is Usha.
