fatca/crs declaration - anyone completed this?

"On July 9, 2015, India signed the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) agreement with USA and agreed to share the financial information of US based Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)." - web news. I think, if we have NRE/NRO accounts in India, the bank can request this info from us.

Is there any deadline for this? anyone completed and submitted to their bank(in India)? Any good or bad about this?
