Other than that, they pretty much dominate the conversation on policy in India. Quote
uttermost Posted October 30, 2017 Author Report Posted October 30, 2017 just listen to Canadian, or some of the scandinavian politics. the actual 'middle' class absolutely dominates it, while keeping focused on basic necessities, and not just identity politics (that also exists, but not to the extent US media pretends it exists). not to say Canada is a better country (It is going the US corporate way), but its hard to shout through the voice of common man in Canada. I'm a little wrong in blaming just the 'middle' class. its parties like BJP/TDP that promise these politics to them, while having no problems with keeping sections of society underdeveloped. all other parties are complicit too, but these two parties are the worst in it.
