camsam Posted November 2, 2017 Report Posted November 2, 2017 HSA is for people who visit doctor less number of times(My opinion). Usually HDHP plans are eligible for HSA. Few companies like myne contributes about $200 every year to HSA for free plus you can contribute on your own to HSA. You can start contributing HSA whenever from your paycheck and use this HSA(payflex debit card) for eligible expenses. For example, last year I used this HSA money to buy BP monitor and Diabetes related stuff as they are eligible expenses. One of my friend used for Lasik surgery, he started contributing his pre-tax dollars for about an year. For a bachelor with good health, HDHP plan with HSA is best Quote
