It doesn't matter which facing house you buy , Just buy house which  decent and you get it at right price. 

I had to built a house because my wife is adamant about facing , she wanted west facing house with Bath and Bed in certain locations , 

We spent 30 k more , which i am not going to recover , I don't know about resale as we have bathroom in different  direction than most people here do . 

I saw some decent houses which are well finished and very beautiful and i didn't buy them because they were south or some other facing which i repent 

But ultimately it is your choice

Is the whole process of building a house an easy task? Just gave it reputed builder?

If you are interested in vastu.... You need to consult an expert with your jaathakam and house plan..... Defenitly they would suggest lot of changes as per the layouts here in USA.. and you wouldn't be able to accommodate the changes becoz of HOA rules and cost associated with it.

 

There is no ruleofthumb ..... Saying West & south is bad and east/North is good.

I prefer west because, if you have east facing you will not get sun light as front door , garage blocking it.west ayitey backside nunchi full sun from balcony or windows
