They'll be voted in, only if they have an attractive and convincing message. administrative skills are overrated. Its just one person imposing his idea of morality on hapless people. 

True of all 'leaders'. They are only put there because it is convenient for a sizeable minority. Not because they have any skills. Their job is to stay there, help that sizeable minority, while also make sure that majority doesn't revolt.

TN leaders will always have social welfare schemes. because the culture of discussion in TN emanates from the bottom up. Dravidian parties started this trend, and now they have become elites, but the trend still stays.

So while the conversation about investments, no. of factories, and general cultural chest beating still happens, the dominating conversation in TN will always be about social welfare. bureaucrats pick ideas from the ground to implement in the state.

Thank god, TN brahmins were made politically irrelevant. Now its time to make the dravidian castes (including telugu castes) politically irrelevant too.
