I noticed the same thing as well, I knew this one girl that I had met on a matrimonial site a few years ago. Ended up meeting her but didn't proceed from there as there were too many red flags, funny enough one of my friends ended up meeting her a few months after that and same result as mine. Finally saw her again last year in Florida with a new guy this time, introduced him to me saying he was her friend. Looked to me like a bakra from the matrimonial website. 

Matrimonial websites are such a joke, lol.
